FREDERICTON (GNB) – Through the media, the Department of Health has been made aware of the closure of the Morgentaler Clinic in Fredericton.

Women will continue to have access to medically-necessary abortions in the province with the approval of two physicians.
As this matter is still before the courts, the department has no further comment.

NB Petition not to fund abortion at the Mortgentaler Clinic in Fredericton, NB by Medicare

Fredericton, NB, As of 5:00 p.m. March 20, 2014, a counter petition against funding is leading against the St. Thomas University Student Petition to fund abortion at a private clinic through medicare. The student petition sought to have Provincial Medicare change their policy in disalowing payment to a private abortion clinic for the procedure.  The policy has been in place for over two decades.  The students thought to pressure the Provincial Tory Government of New Brunswick in providing payment for abortion procedures through the universal medicare insurance program at a private abortion clinic which was founded by Canada's infamous abortionist, the late Dr. Henry Morgentaler.  Dr.

Rogersville's new Municipal Buildings targeted by arsonist

Fire reportedly set Saturday morning around 11 a.m.  The newly constructed municipal offices was the target of an arsonist.  RCMP are saying someone intentionally threw an incendiary device on the roof in the early morning hours on Saturday May 4 and are seeking the publics help.  The new facility was being built because fire completely destroyed the municipal offices in January of last year.  The Mayors offices, RCMP and Fire Department were in the same building last year and all offices and equipement were lost [see photos and video below].  The new facility also has all three community offices, mayor, police and fire, together once again.

New Federal Electoral Map for New Brunswick Tabled in the House of Commons
